David Baldinger - Cartoonist & Photographer

The fantastic cartoonist “Garrincha” (Gustavo Rodriguez) has opened a personal website to post his great cartoons. Gustavo is formerly from the country of Cuba and now, luckily for us United Statesers, resides in Miami Florida! He contributes cartoons to many websites and publications and is a featured cartoonist for the Miami El Nuevo Herald . Gustavo also has a blog that is updated frequently with new works. His cartoons span the subjects of erotic humor, politics and comic strips. He is immensely talented and, more importantly, a great guy. Through the miracle of the Internet, I stumbled upon an absolutely wonderful illustrator from Paris, France. Her name is Delphine Durand. I am completely taken with the pure joy she seems to draw with. I don’t know if she attended an art school but her work conveys the feeling of someone NOT corrupted by professional education. Her art isn’t so slick and perfect that it becomes boring. A nice collection of her art can be found on her Flickr page as well as her blog . Her published books are, thankfully, available. I love collecting children's books so I will be adding as many of Delphine’s as possible. Hopefully, I will learn a lot from Delphine’s art. I am compelled to travel into her fantasy landscapes.

Monty Python has created it’s own YouTube channel with high quality clips from their television shows and film. Here’s a clip from “The Life Of Brian,” probably the funniest film ever made. The channel is here: Monty Python YouTube

Comedy Central finally came to their senses and has produced a show with my favorite satirist, comedian and all around pissed-off ranter. No one makes me lose it as often as Mr. Black. Maybe it's because I really feel like I can relate to what pisses him off. If you get Comedy Central channel, you must watch this show. It truly will help you maintain your sanity in the glorious final days of the Bush disaster.
