Another kitten was abandoned in the field behind our apartment. She is obviously the sister of the black kitten, Hokus Pokus. These kittens are the funniest, most lovable kitties I've ever known. I didn't really want more than one cat in our apartment but what are you going to do?
I don't know what kind of people can just toss these helpless babies out into a cold, wet field. We found her, crying, huddled down into an indentation about the size of her body. Neither of these kittens tried to run so they were surely handled a lot.
