Johnstown PA Jackass

Click on image to see entire video This dumb-ass seems to be getting around on the video sites. Nothing could be better for this piece of shit. In the video, this fool is happy to display his “Obama Monkey” to someone with a home video cam (I guess this dimwit never heard of video sharing sites) but as soon as he noticed national news zeroing in on him, he ditched the doll to some child. How generous of him. These are the people Rep. John Murtha was referring to and Gov. Rendell claims “there’s only a few of”.

Right Wing Silliness

I found this on a wing-nut blog. The closer the election gets, the more braying about Obama being a Communist I find on blogs written by American knuckle draggers. I don’t know if this image was done for a humor site but it is finding its way onto the loonie Right’s blogs apparently.

Ah, Sweet Middle America!

Misinformation is higher education in the USA How can so many Americans be so stupid and uninformed? The guy at the end is right to be frightened of the violent possibilities of these people. They are capable of anything but intelligent thought!

Red Smear Campaign

From My Cartoons My latest cartoon. The Republicans and the Right-Wing in the USA have been trying to paint Obama as a Communist or a Socialist for some time. Is he? Who knows. I suspect he was a typical college Marxist who forgot all the idealism as soon as graduation came and the big bucks started coming in. I live near a big college town and I've seen a lot of those types.

REUTERS Yefimov 'survived not because of Stalin's generosity of soul, but because his talents as a cartoonist' Wed Oct 1, 4:38 PM ET MOSCOW - Celebrated political cartoonist Boris Yefimov, who drew brutally satirical images of the Soviet Union's foes in the service of Josef Stalin, died Wednesday. He was 108. Yefimov's death was given wide coverage on Russian state television. No cause was given. His cartoons spanned virtually the entire history of the communist state, from shortly after the 1917 revolution to the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Among his most memorable drawings was one showing a wretched-looking Hitler, who is said to have ordered Yefimov shot if the Nazis captured Moscow in World War II. Instead, Yefimov was sent after the war to the Nuremburg trials to draw the Nazis as they faced justice. Yefimov also turned his pen against the United States. His Cold War drawings po

Russian parliamentarian demands end of U.S. blockade of Cuba

MOSCOW, September 29.— Ivan Melnikov, the Russian vice president of Parliament, has called on the United States to end its economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba, in place for almost 50 years, and the repeal of the anti-Cuban Helms-Burton Act. Speaking at the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council in Strasbourg in the name of the European United Left, Melnikov harshly criticized the policy of economic siege used to directly pressure sovereign states, Prensa Latina reports. The persistence of the blockade constitutes discrimination against Cuba and third countries, the likewise vice president of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said, referring to commercial sanctions included in the Helms-Burton Act.   Melnikov asked the Parliamentary Assembly’s Bureau to ask the U.S. government to repeal its discriminatory and anti-Cuban laws, including the Torricelli Act. At the same time, the communist leader exposed how Washington, acting as if it wished to
